Matt has been practicing law in Minnesota since 2018.

Prior to starting MHanson Law, Matt worked with Thomson Reuters, Securian Trust Company, N.A. and a small law firm in Minneapolis.

Matt has extensive experience as a former Wealth Management Counsel Associate working directly with clients and their agents on complex trusts and estate plans.

Matt currently lives in Prior Lake, MN with his wife (Amy), son (Roy), and dog (Koda).

Outside of work, Matt enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his family, carpentry, hunting, cooking, and volunteering in his local community.

In 2022, Matt ran for Judge in Scott County, MN and received 114,212 votes.
